U.S. bank account for Canada Selling

I read a few months back on AZ-U.S. that American sellers can sell on AZ dot ca and still use their American bank account for deposits.

Has anyone tried this, and does anyone know if the reverse is true for Canadian sellers, selling on AZ dot com?

If anyone has done this, what percentage of the exchange does AZ take (banks usually run 2-2.5%)

Thanks

Canadian sellers can sell on Az dot com but they NEED a US bank account. Canadian bank account is not accepted.

There is exchange involved - funds are in US funds but...shipping costs suck

I would like to know if American person (US address, phones, Bank, CC) can sale on Amazon.ca

Thank you

In the AZ Headlines, about 3-4 months ago, was an article that said along the lines of an American seller can now sell in Canada on dot ca and use their U.S. bank account.

Just went back on the headlines and they only go back to May, so it's not there.

But, I am 100% sure that it was posted. It came out about the same time as AZ Canada adding the tax tables for Canada (finally).

As we are still in the 'blocked' mode, I can't call or email in (plus AZ says I still owe them $707 for defects etc issued AFTER the 90 days) Yup, I think I'll just write them a cheque right now, NOT!

Anyone willing to call or email???

If the IP is not involved with any amazon account just email seller central and ask for help

Is seller central known for prompt replies? Have not had success with replies in a timely manner

Amazon makes selling in Canada easier with payments to your U.S. bank account in U.S. dollars!
Jan 21, 2013

Selling on Amazon.ca and growing your business internationally just got easier with the launch of Amazon Currency Converter for Sellers. Seller accounts in Canada no longer exclusively require a bank account with a Canadian routing number. Sign up for Amazon Currency Converter for Sellers on Amazon.ca and Amazon will convert your sales proceeds to U.S. dollars and transfer funds to the U.S. bank account you designate. Learn more about selling in Canada, and learn more about Amazon Currency Converter for Sellers.

The headline # is in the link, but is no longer on AZ because of age (I guess).

First time I have posted a 'paste' with a link. If there are problems doing it this way, let me know.

Thanks

Also, here is an copy from channeladvisor blog.

Consider selling on Amazon Canada

It’s right across the border for our US customers and lists in English, making Amazon.ca an easy next step for marketplace expansion. Amazon recently launched the Amazon Prime program in Canada and is in the process of adding support for additional selling categories. Today on Amazon.ca you can use ChannelAdvisor to list Consumer Electronics, Home & Garden, Sports, Tools and Watches. Additionally, you can self-fulfill orders or use the Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) service for some or all of your products.

When it comes to getting paid, Amazon recently launched the Amazon Currency Converter for Sellers in Canada. With this optional service, Amazon will convert your sales proceeds to U.S. dollars and transfer funds to the U.S. bank account that you designate.

To get started, contact ChannelAdvisor support to request the setup of a Canadian Dollar account.

Would I have to go stealth on .ca or could I use my real info? My real info is already banned from selling from .com

Once amazon suspends you or blocks/deletes you. You can't use those details on their other international sites?

I would not use ANY info that has been banned on ANY of the AZ platforms - few stories of people having problems later on...can you risk that for your operations? I couldnt
