Has anyone applied to sell in a restricted category wirh a Ghost Account on Amazon

Hi Guys,

One of my businesses is selling Jewellery. To sell Jewellery on Amazon you have to be approved.

You have to give them a sample of barcodes and a selection of images to get approval.

Has anyone had problems doing this with a Ghost Account?

Thanks

I haven't tried this, but if it barcodes you need, there are companies you can purchase your own set of UPC's.

Going cost for 100 is, I think????, about $30-$50, maybe less.

I have all that sorted. I was wondering if they run any additional checks on the information you provided them with when creating the account.

Don't go around it, you will be found soon.

Do you mean I won't be able to do this with a Ghost account?

I think he means that if you are asked to submit documentation, you will know if they do probe and contact your supplier.

I used to sell in this category on my real details account. I was never asked for ID documentation.

How long ago were you suspended?

Have you considered the dangers of relisting in the same category

At the end of last year.

I have, but I only had 20% of my items on there. I was planning on listing the rest and the slowly integrating the other products in with completely different wording and pictures. You'd never be able to tell it was the same seller.

Decent approach - spread it over several accounts as backups

Go very carefully then.

Always be mindful of anything that may cause a link.

Good Luck
