Bought new laptop, new plan.

Hey,

My Amazon account was suspended many months ago, bought the guide, but it was too difficult for me at the time (didn't know how to change mac/ip).

Now I know how to change my IP address. I also use separate user accounts.
But I have also bought a brand new laptop.

Will that make going 'stealth' easier?

I can use my father's bank account. And I can buy a VCC if they request one.
I don't think address is an issue with Amazon, I will just use a neighbors address (they are very old couple, I doubt if they use Amazon. Or internet for that matter xD).

Does this plan sound good?

First time I set up, I bought a new laptop too. It's not all that necessary though so long as you reformat your computer's hdd. Other than that, your plan is okay. Personally I would use a mail box address and get a DBA to start my own bank account rather than involving any family members in the process. But hey, I guess I just like to have my cake and eat it too

Thanks.

I created a stealth account before, but they banned me pretty quickly. Don't even know why. I did start selling 1 day after creating the account and didn't order anything. Could this be the reason? (Suspicious)

Not necessarily. It's probably something else that you did that got you linked. But it is helpful to create your account and start selling low risk stuff slowly. Hopefully you didn't sell an iPhone on day 1 in other words. Make sure Amazon sees you as a completely different person this time in every way that you can imagine. Triple check your work whenever you get to the next step of the stealth process. Think about the holes that could logically exist.

A lot of new people come on here asking about what they can get away with - what shortcuts they can take to ease their pain when it comes to learning about and applying stealth. There really are no shortcuts when you do it properly with the intent of hopefully never getting suspended ever again.

For new stealthers: Don't ask what you can get away with. Think about all the holes in your plan first, get paranoid, then ask/search the forum to see if you're going overboard.

I am selling collector's items (games, movies). Some are cheap, like 10-20Eur, other thngs are 150Eur. But everything is original/legal.

I did sell import-items while using non-import listings. I did state that it was an import, that might have been the reason for suspending my account.

These are high risk on a new amazon account.

:mod:

Hmm ok, I thought they were low risk items..
What is considered low risk? Clothing? iPhone cases?

Not really what I sell, but I could buy some cheap stuff and sell at a loss to gain feedback and pass the review?

Games and movies come under the media category.

That's the problem.

Hmm.. What do you advice me to do when I create my account?
Should I buy things first, or should I only sign up for a normal account and later on for a seller's account?

What should I sell, should I place a lot of listings?

You need to have new inventory with Amazon. I heard that they can link you by same inventory. Buy something new to sell and just mix it in with some of your old stuff.

Low-risk items might be used books, household items, comics, cards, etc - worth considering
