Starting new amazon accounts. When to post?

Haven't sold on amazon for 3 years now. Just opened a warehouse full of products. Figure I'll take it the amazon route.

I wish to do the following. Any errors with this plan?

- New vps that's within 100 miles from me
- open new business checking account with debit card
- use card, warehouse address, and Dba name to register amazon
- Google voice number
- buy some shipping supplies on day one
- post 5-10 items for sale after 7 days of opening account.
- wait for sales :)

Any problem you guys see with this process? Will wait for advice before proceeding with action.

Lol yea. About 3 years ago i found out about selling on amazon. Jump the gun, made $800 in one day, and got screwed. That's when I found this forum :)

Been only selling on ebay ever since, but now I have a large stock of inventory, I want to add amazon as an outlet.

Ok make sure you change your name even if you spell it with a variation also change your user account an most important start off slow

Read the book, make sure every detail from your old account is different. Then start slow, hassle customers for feedback and keep the metrics all in green. If your goods are legit you will be fine. Just remember this is a long race, easy start and you will be in good shape for q4

The hassle for feedback part from MickyH is important. Positive feedback on a new account goes a long way.

I must have sent 20 emails out, begging customers for feedback. I only got 1 reply w/ feedback. But once I did, I know it helped me during the review process (along w/ getting orders out within 24 hours, replying to customer messages promptly, and providing delivery confirmation with my orders).

I disagree, I believe you need to wait a while before sales unless you want an immediate seller review....which I believe we all try to avoid

It doesn't hurt if you wait but I wouldn't

I also try to list a used cell phone before I open an Amazon account :) and those account still going strong till now

Posted 2 items and sold both within 24 hours. Going into the 2nd week now. No reviews. Amazon asking to add bank info for deposit. All is sweet... So far.
