Disabling .Net Question
 

In the ghost book there is mentioning of .net "stinking up the user agent string."

It's advised to disable .Net Framework assistant Extension.

I am only running Firefox and disabled IE through the Control Panel. I don't have .Net framework assistant Extension on Firefox. Is .Net Framework assistant for firefox an extension that could auto propogate when I update Firefox or update the Microsoft OS?

I originally disabled .Net completely, but I need it to run some other programs - like Strong VPN.

Any thoughts that are relevant are appreciated.
