Tracking number
 

So I noticed recently that Amazon under the ODR section that Shipments
are broken down into these categories for a rating:

- Shipping on time
- Item delivered on time
- Correct tracking number
- uploading tracking number

I in the last couple of months have done a lot of drop shipping so I would
put in a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ tracking number. I did this in the past and never had a problem
Now I noticed that Amazon is actually tracking the orders and identifying to
see if the tracking number is real. I did this a lot in 2012 and had no problems with the tracking being looked at. Now it is, various reason packages have shown up late, my fault for drop shipping and waiting till the last minute and I have been reported to have ⊗⊗⊗⊗ tracking from customers.

So obviously I can't do this anymore. Is this a new system in place or are they just targeting my account? Which I highly doubt I'm the only one.

I have bought numerous feedbacks say 200 and those show as invalid tracking
as well not being shipped on time. So I'm trying to figure out how about getting my feedback up besides contacting the customers for feedback.

I realize the tracking I would put in was not the correct amount of numbers
Could this be the issue? Is there a way around this so I can still build up my
feedback with my shipping rate going in the toilet and getting suspended.
I have been told not putting in a tracking number for feedback would work.

Anyone else dealing with this or have any ideas or solutions to buying or giving myself feedback without being hurt on the backend for what I have already stated above?

you are not alone, amazon updated that early last year from what i noticed. every shipment is tracked and reported back to amazon.

Getting feedback remains the problem with amazon.
