Running multiple Amazon accounts

Anyone run multiple Amazon accounts on this forum? I've been selling on 1-2 on and off and one of them got really messed up and went down. I really don't see the point of having more than 2 or 3 Amazon accounts running at once since you don't get shut down often after the first "check-up" (at least in my experience).

At any rate, I've been running multiple ebay accounts with different IPs, so I've decided to create 6 new amazon seller accounts.

It's been about a month and the more I'm starting to see that it is redundant to create so many Amazons because none of the new ones has hit the $800 threshold for a review yet. I'm thinking of making one hit the threshold at a time to mature the accounts.

Any thoughts on having a pool of Amazons?

I understand you are able to support each account with different addresses, ID-s, cards, IP-s? Am I correct? If yes, that is a great challenge. In my case, my account was suspended in April, since then I was able to establish a "base" to start a new one, however my sales were really high and I need to be very careful this time. I understand, I have to offer new items and old ones with 60-40 ratio. That is also a challenge. I am thinking on creating a second account, but creating a "base" and new IP with new MAC is pretty tiresome :\
Any advise?
Thank you

Always have the pool available - good to have options

Re: Running multiple Amazon accounts

I just need to understand the following: I read the Amazon Ghost. Everything is logical, however, we it comes to creating multiple IP-s , I am getting confused. Please explain, how can I have or create multiple IP-s from same location? First of all, the computer can raise a red flag. Yes, you can have several accounts on the same PC or laptop. How about the MAC number of the computer? How about the wireless modem? How many physical addresses one can create? I spend good amount of money on UPS store mailboxes. In my case, I have to sell as a company, because 40 items limit on Amazon is not going to make a positive difference in my wallet.
I had to establish a new LLC ($275), new bank account ($100 deposit), new UPS mailbox (for small businesses you have to pay 12 months in advance - $241). That's plenty. I called AT&T and asked them to change my modem (in case). They did.
For eBay is easier, I use the same, plus ordered VCC-s on different names and few more mailboxes.
But Amazon is more important to me and if we have to establish completely new entities to be able to sell and risk again, then we will do it, however it is a pretty nerve wrecking process and , pretty humiliating.
How do you manage to have several Amazon accounts? Any more simple way? Please share. Thank you

What is your first question Vachagan - meaning the most important one to you? String of questions doesnt help for clarity.

IPs are assigned based on your provider

Sure options are always better. To rephrase the question, is it worth the time to put into 6 different amazon accounts if they are certain to hit the threshold and be reviewed?
and a pre-question would be:

If you're selling $200 every 2 months on each of 6 accounts, does Amazon still do a threshold checkup at about the $800 mark or do they just leave you alone with such low revenue?

1. Always good to have backups.

2. It really depends...the $800 mark is not a setpoint - people have gone into revenue with only $100 worth of sales - depends on the listing too

I am running 4 Amazon accounts at present with fixed IP addresses. All 4 were reviewed. Once the review process begain I stopped selling. Answered questions, then after 30 days all 4 were reinstated. I never hit the $800 limit during the first month, but was reviewed anyways.

I have 3 accounts running. I never stop selling while in review process, it is important to get at least 5 or more positive feedbacks while in review, no claims and no bad feedback in that time, this will make u pass 99%

And all 4 still live on? Nice to hear

Almost all the account will hit the review at least once. I rather get the review early as it can get. It is always better for me.

Agree. In my experience, after a review you are all set until you hit your threshold limits.

Got a review on another account (not the one that was asked for ID). Fingers crossed on the passage.
