linked accounts?

Hi experts

This has been bothering me and I hope someone can shed some lights

My first suspended account and fingers crossed after 3 months waiting I have now received my fund. I really want to close it, shut it and not worry about it.

However i am worried that if I do this, and any further come backs will be charged to my other account which they suspended due to linkage.

Will they and do they do this?

thanks

Jase

Hi GB

I assume your response indicates that I should not over worry and just close the first account?

or did I mistaken it where you indicate that I should leave it as it is and not do anything?

I am sorry that I did not get it at first lol

Just forget about that account. Don't bother to close it.

Well I had a USA account suspended and I left a debt $3000 plus dollar, which was for FBA returns. However they suspended another USA account as they said it was linked to another account, god knows how as I pretty careful. (first time in many years). 90 days pass and no cash, sent an email and they said they cannot disburse the funds unless I agree to have the old debt from the linked account taken out of my monies due.

The account is useless I understand but there is no purpose in closing this - even if you did, information is kept so - like GB said, let it be.

Re: linked accounts?

The reason I want to close it completely or at least delete the email that is associated with it is that I am still getting about 5 RMA enquiries a day due to the large volume I had been selling while I was with Amazon.. Obviously people expect things to last forever and if I am not selling on amazon, I am not earning to cover those "come backs"

Its not as if I can just ignore it because no one is contacting me thru it for new sales.

Its just that I am having emails every day from customers saying that this is gone wrong this and that. We have allocated a 2% budget to deal with our own warranty claims, but thats when we were selling.

We earned nothing since the last 3 months and the whole company is sort of closed now (having to laid off 3 full timers)

Please advise.

The buyers have 90 days for claims, so if u got your funds after 3 months as you say, there is no reason to worry. Amazon default return policy is 30 days, claims 90, so you had all this time passed and got the rest of the funds. Buyers can ask for return after 1 year, this doesnt mean u are responsible for this. Even if you close your account, it is not deleted, You cannot log in but the record is there, and if they want to charge your card added there is no problem for this, but i dont think this will happen after the 90th day have passed.

Hi Liubkin

That is whats in their policy but trust me, in normal circumstances the A to Z will favour in buyers at most of the times no matter if its after 3 months, 6 months or 1 year. They can always find excuses that we are to hold responsibility. However, since the bank account and the card linked to the account has already been deleted, in that particular case they cannot charge me for, unless, and this is why I raised the initial question, they will charge from the accounts that they found it to be linked with, which I still have funds and still 2 months until I get fund from there :(

You have your own answer there.
