Bank Account Information UK
 

Hello,

I have my bank account (under my real name obviously) which I have not used with amazon so far. As it was written on the e-book and forum, I can use the bank account under a new name since amazon cant identify the real owner.

I just want to make sure if this information is still up to date and if it works for UK.

P.S. Does it matter when I add the bank information to the account?

As long as the bank accepts deposits in stealth name, you should be fine.

As for addition of the bank info...wait for other ppl to comment.

That is correct, but some banks do have issue with mismatching name deposits. Which bank are you looking to use?

I am using Estonian DNB Bank https://www.dnb.ee/. And I think they might be pretty strict about it.

Perhaps I should try to make a bank transfer to the DNB account while using a miss matching name?

I just got the greatest idea which might work.

As far as I know I can assign a person to mine account who could also manage it. So maybe, just maybe it can be possible to make a bank transfer to the assigned name.

Gonna contact the bank for that.

Double check that a Latvian bank account can even be used.

Never seen Latvia on the list of Eurozone.

Make sure before using the account.

I havent said anything about Latvia. I am using Estonian banking service.

You are assigning a person? Be careful if bank wants ID of that person

First I have made a bank transfer to that account using account number and different person name (different to the owner of the bank account) to see if it works.

If not, I am planning to assign a person to a bank account. If they want that person ID i can provide it without a problem. Thats my girlfriend who is being used for this stealth.

Anyway theres gotta be an easier way...

Plan is massively flawed. If you want a UK bank.

Visit the UK, go into any high street bank with your EU ID and they will open one for you.

You will get online banking AND you can open more online.

I was calling UK banks last summer and if I want to open an account they said I need about 10 000 GBP for a business accounts. And they dont open a personal account since I do not live or work in UK.

Was in the bank the other day, Spanish couple walked in and lady at the front desk said they could open one immediately, £1000 minimum deposit.

What is the name of a bank? And is it possible to use the bank in my case with stealth ?

If you were quoted 10k you were looking at the wrong banks. Is it essential you get a business account anyway? Plenty of people use standard personal bank accounts without any problems.
