If I create Individual Amazon seller account and I want to change to Professional
 

If I create Individual Amazon seller account and I want to change to Professional, Will Amazon ask me for some documents or proofs ?

I know that on Amazon Ghost they recommend to create individual account, But I don't get many orders on the individual account (I can't be on the buy box on the listings and that's why I don't get many orders).

From your experience only, Would Amazon ask for any papers ?

If yes, What they will ask ?

You will need to start as individual and upgrade to Pro later. Why? Because for a Pro account, they will demand tax info up front. That means setting up an LLC and EIN that will be useless if your account gets canned in its infancy. Asking for docs isn't related to creating a pro account; it's if they think you're selling counterfeits or whatever.

If I have individual account that I create 3 weeks ago and got some sells on it (about 10), Is it OK if I will upgrade it now to pro ?

Will Amazon ask anything if I upgrade it now?

I don't have any EIN or anything so that's my concern.

Wait until you have a bunch of feedback and you've cleared a review. Don't waste a LLC on the account now. It could still go down for anything. Start including slips asking for feedback...this is very important in the beginning with a stealth Amazon. At around 10 positive feedback, you're in a better position to move forward. But why add the info before they ask for it at ~40 sales?

I'm not sure for US citizen. If you are choosing a non-US person, you just need to fill out a tax interview form to upgrate, no extra information needed, like EIN or SSN
