Re: review of your amazon.com selling acitivity
It sounds like the normal initial review. Amazon is looking at WHAT you are selling, how fast you are shipping, if your customers are happy or not, etc. Just do what you normally do and ship fast and you should be fine.
I wouldn't pull my listings or NOT list anything else, but I WOULD limit my new listings, just to be safe.
Another member said Amazon does not send you an email saying that the review is over, but I always get their emails.
This appears to be the initial velocity review, so it is normal and it does not mean you have done anything wrong. It used to be that it automatically triggered after $750 in sales, but now it can happen at ANY dollar amount - it can happen at $20 or at $2,000. These reviews are easy to pass.
Reviews are NOT a death sentence for the account. If Amazon wants to close the account, they will just close it. In the future you can expect the random review, or reviews that happen when your sales increase significantly, or when they get a couple of customer complaints, or an A-Z claim. Just be sure to be professional in all of your communications, ship quickly and add tracking numbers (if they have them in your area) and give good customer service.
As RosieTosie pointed out, sometimes a review can lead to a rolling reserve, where they hold a small percentage of your sales for a certain period of time to cover any chargebacks o refunds, but those are fairly rare and EVERY MERCHANT ACCOUNT PROCESSOR does those. So, it is no big deal.
Lastly, keep an eye out for any requests from Amazon. As ridiculous as it sounds, they will sometimes ask you to put your tracking numbers into a spreadsheet and upload them. Why they do that when tracking numbers are already in their system I don't know. But I always just give them what they ask for, with no arguments.
