Just bought Amazon Stealth. It mentions that I "will have to change my mac address"

So here's the question.. I purchased a new IP from 24vc service, will I still have to change my mac address in order to run stealth ?

Hopefully someone else will chime in here, because there is some controversy as to whether or not Amazon can actually see the MAC address. Some people swear they can and some swear they cannot.

The first thing to do would be to ask the person at 24vc for advice. They may have fielded this question before.

Spoofing a MAC address is not difficult, I always do it. I use the Technitium MAC Address Changer. It is free and available at Cnet.

I always take as many precautions as possible with Amazon because their technology is more advanced than eBay's.

You do not need to change your mac with a VPN.

Just create a new user account, and setup the new VPN details for that account

Yeah whether you need to change your MAC or not doesn't seem to be set in stone yet, but as elmono mentioned if your using a VPN from 24vc your MAC will change automatically
