Default Amazon giftcards

Have tried 5 different vanilla visas, 3 different onevanilla, 2 private bank issued, 2 mygiftcard so far. All have been denied. These all have worked a month ago.

Seems like they have finally cracked down on them. I'll be going through 10-15 more different ones by the end of the week and will report back.

How dare you amazon.

Tried 5 more private banks, all have been declined.

Seems like amazon has blacklisted any type of prepaid card. Will try a few more tomorrow

There have been reports that the silver vanillas work that start with 4034 but not sure of a way to reliably get those starting numbers all the time

123... any Updates on your testing yet?

elmono... do you mean real banks (PNC, Wellsfargo) that offer gift cards? which ones did you try?

Was really hoping private bank cards would work like they use to but even TD bank ones are declined, may take a while but we always find a workaround!

Well that's just dandy. Opening a new stealth with a walmart branded visa gift in a day or two, hope it works .

I think that the answer lies in cards from SMALLER banks and credit unions. If Amazon is cracking down, I'm sure they got all of the major banks.

They are actually processing the cards as the charges go thru, just the website refuses to add the card. I'm inclined to believe its a command string being sent that the gift cards don't support that's causing the problem, rather than numbers being blocked, as surely the charges wouldn't go thru if they blocked the card numbers as invalid

Tried several different ones, none are working. I think we have a mole on this forum. I reckon whatever solution we find in future needs to be kept private by means of PMing. Not sure how we can enforce that but we need to crack this. I will pull as many all-nighters as it takes. Any suggestions please PM me.

Would anyone be willing to PM a name of a working card?

What's the alternative to gift cards now? Open a legit bank account with a different address?

Just chiming in guys on my GC notes on amzn. Been afk for sometime as everything was running smooth, until this whole GC fiasco. Anyways, so I have several accounts that are still up and running with giftcards, and several that are not. My conclusion is the ones that are up and running are the ones that still have a minor balance that amzn can charge when making a disbursement. The accounts that are older the GC balances are zero by now (thanks to the greedy giftcard companies who zero the balance over time). So those older accounts are getting disbursements rejected by amzn. Will be keeping in touch with you guys finding work arounds. Thanks for the help!
