Amazon UK New Verification ?
 
hi

I'm on amazon UK, and recently heard some news about how amazon are systematically checking each account to verify the accounts, has anyone heard anything about this and can even tell me how to get past this or be successful in this process as this is a stealth amazon account ?

Yes happened to me, got past the recent CC issue, and have been prompted to give a passport scan before i can list, even though i listed as soon as the credit card was added no problems, also i wasn't give the option of supplying a DL only a passport or European ID card

Hi

Thanks for the reply, they have also asked me for a passport scan and wont let me submit a driving license. I want to know though does Amazon actually run the passport details through a system to check everything is legit ? If so does anybody know how to get around this issue?

I guess 'get creative' is the only option at this stage, seeing as they appear to have gone way overboard lately with the EU crap, rather than just keeping records for as and when

I haven't heard anything about this and check my Amazon account every day, nothing different happening at all.

This is new sign ups the instant verification is happening for, rather than existing accounts that are still being processed as usual.

Accounts I have signed up for doesn't need to be to send in anything from the start. Seems to happen later on.
