Vanilla Visa Not Working, Credit Card Authorization Failing on New Account
 

I attempted to create my first Amazon stealth account. I purchased a Vanilla Visa Gift Cards from CVS, placed 25 dollars on the card. I registered the card with a zip code on vanillavisa.com. However, when creating my new account on Amazon, the card was not validated. I went back to CVS and purchased another Vanilla Visa, registered with zip code, same issue, card not validated.

Does anyone have a recommendation on which prepaid card to use and where to get it from? It appears the issue might be with address or name validation, because Vanilla Visa only asks for the zip code for registration, not the full address and name. I was thinking a greendot prepaid visa or Amex secure card, but doesn't that require full id and SSN to register?

Please help, I need advice on which prepaid card to buy and where I can buy it from for Amazon. I am in the USA. Thank you so much!

It seems Amazon just changed its rules to not accepting VCC. So far Vanilla and other VCCs are tested and failed. This is a very bad news. I am also waiting to see if there is any update on it.

Hi, vanillas are no longer working for Amazon / certain vccs from account sellers still work / and real cc are working

I have a real credit card I don't mind using, but does that mean I will have to probably use my real name to get it to go through?

Just don't want it to get linked to another amazon account

NO.

I have stated in multiple threads. Amazon can ONLY verify your house # and zip code. NOTHING else is verified.
