new requirement Drivers license when add bank
 
I did search on forum for this thread and surprised notting came up.. Is this new requirement for new AMZON stealth seller registration?

For AMZON payments (enter drivers license # and State in USA). Can they verify the drivers license info?

in europe ive read they AMZON has asked for drivers ID for a while but not USA.. any replies appreciated thanks.

Not every one drives. I do not. Most require it or state id which I do have.

after reading the recent replies here and else where I'm getting a mixed bag of replies ... some new acc's require you to enter DL # (along w/checking routing #s) to simply add the bank. while others don't .. anyone else encounter this?

Input some random #'s and see what happens.

They can only verify driver's license numbers in certain states. Some states do not sell driver's license data for commercial purposes, even for verification.

Well, I don't remember all of them off the top of my head, but I know that Illinois and California do not.

Florida gives them away free with every purchase of an orange.
