All routes followed - Still got burned.

Hi
first post on the amazon section so hello there guys.

Recently lost an amazon account, followed all the tips and tricks etc....when trying to open a new account.
But I couldn't even get it passed verification.

I Followed the path below....
NEW IP
NEW PC USER
NEW BANK ACC / NEW CARD
NEW STEALTH NAME

I am/was a UK seller, not high risk items.
Old account was closed asking for invoices etc....
Perfect score on the doors, no complaints.

Anyone have an idea as to why I couldn't even get a new account open?

Agreed - I personally do NOT like using new windows user accounts. I know 'Taking the Micky' will now chirp up with his accounts that have never gone down using separate users but I don't agree that it's solid.

Ideally you want to use VMWare, it's so much safer and less chance of the account go down.

1. New Bank Card? - you used a bank issued debit card?
2. What did you do about the address?
3. When you added a new bank account, when it asked for the account holders name, who's name did you enter?

Did you get selling privileges removed just after signing up?

the exact same is happening to me as well, its frustrating

sorry to bust in on the OP post, but for question 3 when entering the addy that relates to card does it have to be correct info? Do amazon store all cards on file even if you delete them, meaning the card couldnt be used again on amazon?

One last question, does 3V work for amazon?

1, I used a debit card yes, it's a different bank to my old one on the old account. same name address though.
(Just realised maybe that's a link they spotted)

2 see above
3 I added my legit name.

I've only had the one amazon that was closed.
is it best to go full stealth when starting again?

Same name should not link you unless you have an unusual name. However I see you set the account up with a stealth name and the bank account with your real name. This is possibly the reason for the suspension. Why would some open an account in the name Joe Bloggs and bank account as Billy Bragg.

Callidus, yes I use different users on one laptop with no issues, but I use Safari and a Mac.

Potentially different then if you're using MAC, must say I cannot comment I dont use MAC - although I do wish I did but think it's too much of a switch from Windows.

I used my landline number for the new acc, my banned one had my mobile.

I just didn't get passed the aspect of adding the bank account at the end it just refused it for some reason that's what's stumped me s it's a totally different bank.

old was RBS new was TSB....
I am UK based (didn't mention that sorry)

I can confirm that different users works. I'm on a Windows machine, and at least so far, I haven't had issues. At the very least, you should be able to register and start with it, don't know if an issue will come up later.

That should not be the reason. My all Ama accounts has different registration and bank holders names. I have 1 account with 3 banks attached and all has different holders. Also, never experienced being put in review just for adding a new bank account (I read somewhere about being put in review after adding bank account)

You will go into a review if you add a bank then change the bank to another shortly after that's for sure.
