New Amazon Account [quick question]
 

Hi

I have a friend who will open a brand new Amazon UK account on his name and provide all data needed to go live.

So my question is.
What uk bank account should I open to add to this account. Also can I use my IP(has been suspended) to managed this account or should I get new one?

This is a very basic question. You should have all new details, nothing similar as an old account.

What PC are you using to set up and access the account.

Any bank will do.

I believe you need to some reading on stealth as one mistake and your account has gone.

Computer - New MAC address needed . You can change it read up I used my old Macbook that was linked to 3 other accounts. Reinstall computer !!!!

IP address - change it or get new router.

Bank account - New !!!! Can be in your own name and address of course. New sort code and bank account number essential for disbursement.

Credit card - NEW !!! has to be a valid card, I don't think they check your name and billing address on credit card to match (not entirely sure ) because it worked for me, Maybe I was lucky. If you are all out on your credit cards. Say you lost it and and they will send a new one.

Telephone number - NEW and valid one , as amazon calls you. But you can opt for email contact .

ID- Drivers license/passport and utility bill

DO NOT have your friend open an account for you.

Use your own REAL bank account. Amazon can NOT see your bank account name. They will NOT know the bank account belongs to you.

Account will be set up on my friends laptop in his house. But account will be maintain on my laptop and my IP.

Im working for company what sell toys on amazon and I manging their Amazon account from my suspended IP and it fine for 2 years. So looks like IP has nothing to do with it.

Regarding to Bank Account what name should I use to set this up. Amazon will ask for name on the account. Do I need like a business name account ?

I want to have this to be genuine account so I can provide any documents is need it for amazon.

The bank account can be set up in any account name and you can enter anything on amazon for the bank account name. Amazon when send disbursements only use the account number and sort code.

If you are using the same laptop and IP to run two accounts, those accounts will be linked and suspended. Amazon don't solely suspended an account on IP, but your plan is heading for disaster.

GOA, in the UK you have very little choice as amazon require a passport and utility bills to confirm the identity of the seller. The US is very different.

and why some people here complain that their bank account goes down due to mismatching names ?

Tom,

You are so off with what amazon does. Please make sure you read and thus learn what amazon does. IP is one factor that can be used IF amazon is going to zap an account. Your plan needs redoing.

So how someone can explain to me I have a daily access to amazon from my work for 2 years with suspended IP and that account is nice and clean.

But I take it seriously and I requested new IP from Virgin Media(will be in 3days) also any recommendation on UK BANK Accounts?

Same for US and UK except in the US they use routing numbers not sort code

I used 'creative documents' successfully around 5 months ago for UK. So you shouldn't have a problem either OP

I hope you're not advising to setup bank accounts in anything but REAL details...

You need to read the book and start fresh OP your ideas and plan are well off and this will end in tears

I am talking about entering the info on amazon not setting up a false bank account, if you read the entire thread you would understand this.

How did you sort the ID stuff out as this is a new requirement?
