Amazon Account Creating Issue
 

Hi Guys,

I'm on the final part of verification of my account and uploaded the bank statement - however this keeps getting rejected despite all details being correct and matching,

They are now asking me for a scanned copy of a certified bank letter - what the usual procedure to deal with this?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Have you double checked with your amazon.co.uk details, one little difference and it will be rejected and compared with the bank statement.

Thanks - I'll double check but I'm pretty certain everything is correct

Is it normal though that they are now ONLY requesting a certified bank letter rather than a statement?

Never been asking for the letter, just copy of my bank statement.

hm - seems like a new policy if the first bank statement submitted is rejected..

Whats the best way to solve the ID issue that they now require?

There is no way around this, a passport or driving licence needs to be produced, the advantage with a passport there is no address.

The easiest way I have found is setting up limited company which cost less than £50 then amazon don't request and HMCE documents. Use the formation companies registered office service and this gives you an address which will show on companies house records within a few days. Print this for proof of address. Have you new bank account also with this address. The formation company will forward all your mail. Cancel this service for mail etc after a month and change you bank account back to your home address.

This way you don't have to "⊗⊗⊗⊗" documents, which of course is fraud. Need any info just drop me a PM.

Hey - thanks for the info re the account creation,

Amazon uk keep asking for passport or EU driving license - since the account is in stealth under a different version of my name is the only way to get around this is by being creative or are there any other ways?

Regarding them asking for a certified bank letter- because my real bank is on my real name which would obviously link my previous account- is the only way around this to be creative too?

Name is not over important, there will be 1000's of people with you name, but if you have other similarities, post code, IP etc then a link will be established.

The the stealth name is similar to whats in the passport they will just ask you to amend the info in seller central so it matches. Being creative with passports is pretty heavy.

ok thanks however for the passport because I've previously uploaded my one on the original account -whats the solution to this issue because obviously they will match if I upload the same one as before?

Also do you know if amz check whether you have to have a working buyer's account to determine if an account is in stealth?

and does amz scan emails sent from sellers to buyers to see if the wording matches canned emails sent on previously suspended accounts e.g about receiving refund etc..?

OK, at the outset of this post you were asking about the bank statement, later you say they are requesting a passport that you have already used.

IMO this account is finished. You would be better starting again, with a fresh passport, brother, wife's etc then use stealth details like I suggested earlier. I would not recommend being creative with a passport.

How long has this account been open and I assume your disbursements are not held as you are only being verified. You have 60 days before the account is suspended for not supplying documents, this will take you past Christmas and you will be able to disburse daily. But get your new stealth account running.

ok many thanks - ye they re-asked for the ID because the previous one was a driving licence and apparently they no longer accept these- everything submitted is real -thats why I was confused they kept asking for the same info again

I'll do as you say though just in case - what seems odd is how they asked for a certified bank letter after I submitted a real correct bank statement but I'll do as you say and hopefully it should be fine

Im going through all the threads on AZ that I can beccause I want to start stealth. How do you register a limited company in the UK? Can it be done out of the country like the LLCs people can register in America.

if you know any cheap LLC registrars in the States let me know too.

Just use Google, there are lots of people that incorporate companies. "company formation uk"
