Bank name for deposit
 

I got funds deposit to my bank account well for a long time and just a few weeks ago Amazon told me they failed transfer money to my bank and the bank information was removed. I used my stealth name on card holder name. The bank I was using is Tangerine (Canada). Did Amazon change their policy requiring bank account and name matching each other? Or it's because of Tangerine changed their policy requiring matching? Anyone please give me some clues. Thanks.

Amazon has no "policy" one way or the other as there is not a system for them to verify name/account match. This is all done internally based on your bank So yes, it is definitely your bank and definitely not Amazon.

Then if I put my real name on the card holder, will I get linked by Amazon?

Savings accounts usually work with any name.

Is that rule specific to this bank the OP referring to, or are you implying this applies to all banks around the world - It doesnt sound right.
