Amazon acc with amazon gift card
 

Hello fellas!

I am new to amazon things so please dont judge me :) is it possible to open an amazon account using only amazong gift card with out bank account or credit card?

Not if you want to sell on it.

Do you want to just use it as a buyers account?

Even if you tried to use it as a buyers only account, you will face a lot of scrutiny by Amazon, they don't like first time buyers attempting to use gift cards - I can't remember what happens exactly, but the order won't go through for sure, especially if the details are stealth.

Why would you not want to use your own card in that case? I don't see the downside to using your own card

Nothing more to say, apart from Amazon put a red flag on such transactions because it's a common practice used by fraudsters.

And you have credit card fraud protection by using your own credit card...a plus point

I would need to get from bank a special credit card for this which would charge me every month and VCC is about ~70 USD this is why I thought to open using gift card.

And about red flags, should this matter if I can provide all the information to confirm my identity?

Why would you need a special card? You can just use your own normal credit or debit card

My visa electron cant be used for online shopping. You cant attach it to pp or amazon or purchase something online.

You would just need to upgrade to a standard debit card. It would be very strange for the bank to charge much for that

Yeah, I guess that is the only option :) I just thought maybe there is an easier way

For me.. it has worked twice, just put a gift card on and ordered, then the third time I got address verification e-mail so they blocked my account, with the card already redeemed I was out $130 until the documents were sent and even then it took a while to un-suspend.
