Money held over 90 days period...
 
Hi,

My AMZ account has been closed over 90 days ago and disbursement never been made yet.

Does this mean they can keep the money for as long as they want/need?:faint:

Is it suspended or deleted? You need to message upper office if the account is deleted to get a disbursement.

It's been suspended first and afterwards they closed it without any notice :( I've sent them an enquiry regarding disbursement and that it's already been more than 90 days, they replied:

We confirm receipt of your request for the release of funds in your Amazon Payments account. However, due to the status of your account, your funds are currently reserved. The status of your account will be reviewed in due course and we will inform you by email of your account settlement date at this time.

Please refer to Article 2.7 of Amazon Payments- Selling on Amazon User Agreement:
“ (…) In addition to any applicable account limits, we may restrict transactions to or from your Account or limit access to and availability of your Account balance in such amounts and for such time as we reasonably deem necessary to protect us or other users if: (a) we are subject to financial risk (including, without limitation, for pending Chargebacks), (b) we suspect you have violated any term of this Agreement, (c) we are unable to verify your identity, (d) any dispute exists involving your Account or transactions conducted in connection therewith, or (e) needed to protect the security of our systems. We may restrict access to your Account balance for the time that it takes for us to complete any pending investigation or resolve a pending dispute. We also may hold your Account balance as required by law or court order or if otherwise requested by law enforcement or any governmental entity.”

Rest assured, we will contact you as soon as our investigation has been completed to notify you of the outcome.
We thank you for your patience in the interim.

Does anyones else money been held longer than 90days?

If you cannot log in, and if you still cannot log in after all the password reset procedure, then you account is "deleted". Kiss your money good bye and move on.

If it's a big amount of money (e.g. $10k) and if no illegal conduct is involved (i.e. piracy, stolen goods), then get a lawyer and send Amazon a letter. Chances of getting money are still low, but it's worth a shot if it's a big amount of money

Hi. I just got my money released from UK market. I think my account was deleted because I couldn't login in to it, even after I changed password.. I guess I lucky..

I've had them take up to 120 days before, but usually they're pretty good with automatically disbursing after 90 days.

Keep emailing the MD email and the payments email - you should get your money 90 days + disbursement period - so can take up to 120 days

You should get your money in the end though if you are persistent.

Thank you guys for all your replies:thumb: I've sent email to MD last week and got a reply few days ago from escalation team that they're still conducting an evaluation of my selling activities before releasing my reserved funds:ranger:

They indicated that I should send email to payments-investigate@amazon.co.uk on or after 19/12/2016 to request the disbursement of my funds:comp5:

Fingers crossed, hopefully I will get my money just before xmas:humble:

happened to me - i got the email saying to contact them again in December 2016 - that would mean they have had my money 5 months ... im hoping in December they don't fobb me off again...talking £7k!

If they do, try to send email to MD

Well, it will be 6months in December since they shut my account and held the balance:eek:

Hope they will finally realease my money...

It's just a question how much I will receive, had 29 hundred +

I Will keep this thread updated anyway, hope you' will share with the outcome too:thumb:

Could you please tell me how long the money took to arrive in the end? If it did?
Been waiting 4 1/2 month now and been ignored for a month even MD payment ect, getting very worried :(
