Does shipping easy refund you for canceled shipments?

I canceled a shipping easy shipment with USPS. Do they automatically refund you? The only alert I got was that "this shipment has been canceled".

I've never heard of shipping easy, but USPS refunds take a few days to process. When I do a postage refund on stamps.com the request first has to be sent to USPS for approval so they can ensure the postage hasn't been used. I'll get an email 3 or 4 days later letting me know they approved the refund.

They can take up to several weeks to post a refund, they're incredibly slow
