What is the catch when seller doing this?
 

I have search for some products to buy for personal use. Came across some sellers doing weird thing

The SB6183 list "like new" for less than $2. Check his store everything is under $2 which is he CAN'T not ship them.

But why doing this? Losing time and money but what he get out of this kind of stuff?

It's free shipping too. How he doing that on the new account?

Nah, they're selling $50 items for $2, they're definitely not shipping customers anything.

Maybe he/she got wind of ppl tracking and is lowering the heat on the account.

A scammer for sure but what is it for? Don't think he doing for money because he going to get sh!t from Amazon

It's most likely someone who will message buyers after a purchase asking them to go off amazon to complete the purchase.

yeh because $2 is not worth it, no matter how many customers, and anyway the money gets held somewhat, so they cannot pull everything out in a lump sum...

they wont last long, not on amazon anyway...

Most likely for "price matching". A lot of retailers are willing to match prices from another trust worthy sites if they sell at a lower price than them.

Sometimes you have an employee that simply doesn't care about his job as much. When a "customer" shows the discounted price to them, they just honor it without clicking two brain cells together.
