Amazon (Vero) Takedown
 

As many have experienced amazon has became alot stricter on what brands you're allowed to freely sell. Largers brand have also began to police the market.

I have began liquidating the majority of our branded inventory. Here's my question.


Our original account (nonstealth/not suspended) received around eight IP (non-consecutive) infringement claims in which, we received only one warning. We stop selling these brands, and migrated them to our stealth accounts (all fba). If we sell the original items on different asin on orignal account (merchant fufilled) will this be a problem ?

8 Infringements not warnings. I assume Amazon received a takedown notification (IP Infringements) and delete the listing and/or block our account from the listing.

If your current account has received 8 infractions.....why would a new account be any different? think about that just a second.

Please explain. I assumed because our main account has seniority and made quite a lot of money for Amazon, this would not make it susceptible to suspension ( I understand this doesn't apply to everyone and all cases) This is the only reason I believe this account has lasted this long. Frankly, a new account = no warnings/flags.

Am I missing something ?

There would be no point in going Stealth, trying to sell the same item on a different account would not give any protection...in the end the Company would find your item and have it removed. Even if you changed the ASIN number, I'm pretty sure the Company would find your product.

If the product is not seen by Az, the description and ASIN different, you should be fine to sell as MF.

Of course, they will find the product. However, it's way you can delay the amount of time it takes until they find the product. This helps while we liquidate our product. We are currently doing this through FBA on stealth. The problem we run into is that when they eventually find the listing, we're stuck with the fba stock and have to ship it back.

The advantage that merchant fufilled would provide is that we could switch to a different asin, instead of going through the whole FBA process. To go back to our original question, would merchant fulfilled work ?

Thank you. The plan is to never sell on any similar ASIN. Because this is our real account, we don't have to worry about losing stock. Has anyone merchant fufilled through stealth (how does this work ?)

Yes I was selling the same item under a stelath acct as merchant.
The sales figures were terrible.. you get 100 times more sales with fba.

Just my experience.. othes may do better or if you use ads on Amazon it would likely improve the situation, but for sure I think Az lean heavily toward FBA.
