FBA Inventory Recall Help

Hi Folks,

I sold an item to a customer via my website, but all inventory resides in FBA.

I recalled 1 item and made the shipto address the buyer's address.

2 main questions: is the recall fee really .50$ across the board? The reason this item is in amazon inventory is because of the size. If not what is the fee structure?

Second, where do I get the tracking number? I can't find one anywhere.

And a follow up, others who have done this, does it really take 2 weeks?

When I recalled it was shipped UPS saver, or whatever its called, and took almost 2 weeks for delivery.

And I got about 20 different packages... but that's because that amazon account got suspended and had to get back all my product.

This is an interesting story - haven't heard many stories about FBA returns of stock to suspended Amazon users...good input
