Banking Account Numbers Different in last digit ONLy
 

If two bank account numbers are only different in the last digit, will Amazon detect the similarity and link them?

(You know, for some banks, when you open multiple accounts in bulk, the account numbers assigned tend to be very close).

Im curious on this as well,
Is your name, Transit the same as well as the other accounts? Are they on banned accounts?

As long as it's different it won't cause a link

But if 2 accounts share other similarities like products sold, it could be looked at if you got a manual review

People keep asking this same question in different ways and the answer to all of them are the same.

As long as the Account Number has NEVER been used before, you will not have a problem.

This answer is correct.

I've used a few banks that has account number formats such as 001-ACCOUNTID, where only the first 3 digits increments when you open a new account and "ACCOUNTID" is your internal profile number with the bank.

Never had any issues with these banks and I've been using them for 5 years now.

I have several accounts with such numbers.
Never had an issue.
