Amazon account Onhold
 

I received an email from Amazon saying that my account is on hold. They said there is an issue with the payment I made. I purchased a Visa card on CL to make a payment on Amazon. They said the bank is declined the payment and they can not collect the fund. They asked me to pay. I honestly do not want to pay again since I already paid the person on CL. I still have $ 800 balance on that account. Is there anyway I can avoid to pay and get my account back.

So just to be clear you bought a $800 VISA gift card on craigslist and paid cash for it. You then tried to use that VISA gift card to buy an item on Amazon but it didn't work?

How do you know the person doesn't have the card details written down on their end?

I thought visa / master cards had a $500 limit

the visa card I made the payment with was only $ 500 and Amazon said they could not collect the fund from the bank.

Check the card balance online and see if there any money on it..

CL means Craigslist

Anyone has the same experience and able to unhold the account ?

PS : Amazon says they were unable to collect the fund from the bank.
