| glacier922 | 11-20-2016 11:35 PM | We will review your application and if approved, pay 1000 if you are approved For Amazon,
anyone see this message when you're submitting your invoices:
We will review your application and if approved, you will be asked to pay a non-refundable fee of $ 1000 USD via wire transfer prior to listing. The fee is not required if your application is declined.
I'm like whoa, when did this thing start? Is this temporary or what? Has anyone actually took the risk of doing this? |
| Gamefreak | 11-21-2016 12:49 AM | Re: We will review your application and if approved, pay 1000 if you are approved been going on for a little bit now. wire transfer though tf is that a typo or has it been like that? |
| glacier922 | 11-21-2016 01:23 AM | Re: We will review your application and if approved, pay 1000 if you are approved Yup it says wire transfers alright. Did u actually fork over the 1000 dollars? |
Re: We will review your application and if approved, pay 1000 if you are approved For what category is this?
It was always on fine jewelry, but I have seen them starting to expand it |
| glacier922 | 11-21-2016 04:14 AM | Re: We will review your application and if approved, pay 1000 if you are approved Let's say you want to sell certain brands, when you apply, you have to send 3 invoices. At the bottom, it says what I quoted above. |
| glacier922 | 11-21-2016 04:24 AM | Re: We will review your application and if approved, pay 1000 if you are approved In short, let's say you got some Nintendo systems at a liquidation, you try to sell it and Amazon asks for three invoices plus 1000 dollars to sell your Nintendo, ridiculous right? |
Re: We will review your application and if approved, pay 1000 if you are approved Oh yes for specific brand approval I've seen it.
Some will allow 3 invoices instead of paying the $1000 fee. Make sure you're reading it right. Some products do require both which seems pricey |
| GreenBean | 11-21-2016 05:18 AM | Re: We will review your application and if approved, pay 1000 if you are approved amazon looking to have pro sellers only.

Of course if your sales cover the amount, might work. Some are just juggling and on a tight budget.

I've seen this type of fee mentioned in several AK threads now. Frankly I don't blame Amazon. They are probably putting all those extra fees in a lawsuit fund. |

So my Sony PlayStation, say for example, I got at liquidation 8 of them, got to pay 1000 dollars to sell my 8 PlayStation? Complete bull right? Oh, got 8 nintendo from the same liquidation? Another 1000 for that.
Not sure if Amazon sellers too happy now. |
| GreenBean | 11-21-2016 03:50 PM | Re: We will review your application and if approved, pay 1000 if you are approved Bottom line is amazon do not need to care.
They are controlling the quality of who they want to sell.
It is all money for them.

Not sure if Amazon sellers too happy now. | If you dont like the rules dont play the game. They dont need your business so if you dont like it go elsewhere. I just dont get people sometimes.
By the way you selling outdated game consoles is rift raft to them. |

:pop2: | Exactly. Amazon DOES NOT WANT your sales if you cant handle a little negative cash-flow. |

:pop2: | Hopefully this Amazon decision would be like microsoft's windows 8, or their Xbox Kinect disaster. |

Not sure if Amazon sellers too happy now. | Im sure im going to get alot of heat for this, but its not legitimate.
If poor suzy works 2 jobs to buy her son PS3 for christmas from you, a year later it no longer works and she goes to get warranty service and is denied, will you take back her return after a year?
Legitimate sellers should beable to afford $1000. |

Legitimate sellers should beable to afford $1000. | You are not doing the math correctly. It's much more than 1000 dollars. So, 8 playstation, just playstation, that's 1000 dollars. 5 Nintendo, just nintendo, that's 1000 dollars. 7 Xbox, just Xbox, that's another 1000 dollars. That's 3000 dollars to sell 20 items. You need to make over 3000 dollars selling 20 items, and those are realistic conditions. Pretty soon, you sell 100 different items, you're at 100,000 dollars, and you are a legitimate seller.
Not trying to harp, just explaining the situation as accurate as possible. You can't do calculus because you don't understand one part of the equation, so you make your own equation. |

| phaz0rz | 11-21-2016 06:51 PM | Re: We will review your application and if approved, pay 1000 if you are approved You sure that applies for every product you want to sell?
I'm no expert on AZ by any means, but from the Elmo posts I've read I always thought you were paying a non-refundable fee to sell in a category. I could be wrong though.. |

Ebay is an excellent place to sell used PS4's though! :thumb: | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 06:24 PM. | |
