Does put account on vacation risk ?
 

Hi,
I'm going to put my account on vacation in the time near Christmas because the production service is really late this time and I'm scare that the shipment will be late to the customers. I'm wondering that my product listing and my shop will disappear when i'm on vacation or they still active but people cannot buy ? and does it risk my account? for example going on vacation mode will lead a human-review for my account?
I'm really glad if anybody could help me.

We've put our account on vacation before around Christmas to catch up. It pulls all your products from being available to buy but if someone had bookmarked a product, the product page will still be available. It just isn't searchable. I never had a human-review that I knew of after turning on or off vacation mode.

You can also have vacation settings and LEAVE visibility with a banner that you are away but they can still buy.

If you are top rated or want to be this is NOT an option.

the product is searchable, but it will say not currently available, if you are the only seller....

..I do not see why it would cause a review, just for going on vacation mode.

I use the Vacation mode only if any automated tools i use goes down that will negatively impact my sales until it gets resolved. Used twice for short time (4-16 hrs), went back online sales started up within hours of being back online.

Of course if you can take the hit (loss) then don't bother with it.

I use the vacation mode when I've had too many orders and am still trying to catch up with shipping. Never had any issues yet. I usually go on "vacation" for a week. Once I activate the listings again, I start getting sales within a day.
