What's the worst that can happen if you have a large unpaid balance with Amazon as a seller?

Amazon is making it mandatory for all sellers to provide tax EIN during new account registration.

Could Amazon somehow retrieve your social security number from the IRS and give you a negative credit report?

If you use a real SSN....you could have a negative credit report and a collection agency on your back, calling you every day trying to collect.

If you've given them your real information than yes a collecting agency could come after you, which would have a negative effect on credit
