Would this cause linking?
 

So I have a mac which had my old account on, used it on my wifi and while moving about. The account was compromised - email link I done while half drunk on my phone, amateur mistake. I made a new account and have been running it on my desktop only (with a set up I know works and has been for a long time with numerous accounts). Now I need to move this onto my Mac.

I have wiped and reinstalled Mac OS and hopefully I have got rid of all my old account fingerprints that way.

I will use a different browser, set up a new user, etc and bring the new account onto my Mac. I don't really want to be using VM on my Mac, I am running it on my desktop but really want to streamline this as much as possible.

Do I need to do anything else to bring the account on to my Mac, am I just being overly cautious?

If its properly formatted and you have a new IP address you should be fine

Never can be overly cautious, before I format any of my PC's I delete every program and use cyberscrub, but an old version from 2007 and I use the 35 pass gutmann, takes almost 3 days to complete but everything is wiped the fuk out for good

Yeah properly formatted and will be same IP as the desktop i'm using at the moment, no links to the old account. Just wanted to double check I wasn't overlooking anything before doing it as I would have kicked myself.

Formatted + Fresh IP + All other fresh unique details you should be fine :)
