Is using a Proxy Website a risk?

I recently started using a proxy website on my phone to login to my account when need be. Amazon just asked me to verify a code via email. Will constantly using this proxy website cause suspicion? Each time I go to the proxy website a new IP address is assigned correct? I'm guessing this could become a problem.

when you use a Proxy, amazon can see it and they think you are trying to hide your ip. Free proxy are over to do spam and other bad things, so they are often blacklisted. It's a bad idea to use it.

Not a good idea. That can lead to an easy suspension.

Should really avoid proxies, majority are highly abused

much better off with a VPN/VPS
