Amazon account inactive
 

Has anyone ever had this? It shows active but has a yellow flag on the right hand side saying that we have no sales and our account is now inactive due to no sales and that they must verify our financial information. Anyone ever had this before? When I click on the yellow flag on the right in my seller account it takes us and asks for Seller Support other issues with our email and a phone number to contact us. What information do they verify?

Financial information: bank account number, routing number, your company tax ID (or your social security number), business address

They want exactly what it sounds like: proof of who you are (well, technically who your business is) and the financial info to back it up

If you haven't sold anything in a while they worry that you are just creating a shell account to sit there. They want active sellers, it's part of their obsessive security measures

Ohh, they won't make me send a statement of paperwork for the llc? Its a stealth account. All the other information is real, except for the name on the account for the credit card.

I just wrote them and said that we are working on new products to sell thats why we have no sales we will start shortly, no response at all yet.

I am setting up a ghost account, i wanted to use my wifes information to set up a DBA and then in line with Amazon Ghost set up a new seller account with a new computer and different ip.

one issue

my wife has an amazon account and had inadvertently set up a sellers account already in her personal name

this sellers account has never been used or fully set up, in fact it is now Inactive status according to amazon

here is my question:

should i go ahead and have her close her existing sellers account which was created on my home static IP address and using my old computer (thus already linked to my existing, soon to be suspended sellers account)

or should i set up with a fictitious name as the second option mentioned in Ghost?

yes agreed a stealth account but it needs a name, better a real name than a fictitious one right?

my question is if my wife closes her current sellers inactive account and i reopen one in a dba for her using a fresh ip, fresh mac address and information TIN is it better than a fictitious name and data?

No, once she closes hers she cannot use hers or her info again. keep her account!!!
