Hello all,
I have been selling on amazon for a while, but never had to make a listing. I want to start my own line of products. I heard to make a listing you need a UPC, or does amazon issue you one? Do you buy UPCs somewhere if they are necessary.

You can get a UPC exemption as well if you don't have one.

Check the help page on amazon about creating product listings, its pretty straight forward

If you are serious about the product, you can buy a UPC for that product. It will be legit and entered into the list of UPC datebase. My friend bought 4 UPCs for 4 of his items. Same item but 4 different skews. Not expensive

Get Ean number which u can get 100 for 99p and use them

I posted a comment. I dont see it.

You can buy UPCs for your own products and it will be recorded in the official UPC data base. I posted a link but Im sure you can google buy UPCs
