Does Amazon Allow debit cards for Acct Verification
 

I have an account that had its selling privilidges paused due to using prepaid debit cards to verify the account and pay for fees.

I just purchased and downloaded amazon ghost but do not see the fix for this issue.

Is Amazon allowing prepaid cards to be used for fee payments and verifications? What is the work around for this problem?

I would assume that there is a thread regarding this issue.

Thanks in advance for your advice and help. Looking forward to getting access to selling on amazon again.

Ok a depit card and a prepaid card are two DIFFERENT CARDS!

I use my with a depit card from my bank and have 0% issues!

In the situation of a stealth account. Amazon will not allow prepaid debit cards.

Is there a way to get around this as stealth accounts typically avoid personal identities.

My amazon account is in my business name currently.

I had an account in my personal name over 5 years ago.

I seem to remember that Amazon would allow you to create a new account in your personal name after 4 years had elapsed, but I'm not exactly sure on this .

On which Amazon site like .com or .co.uk etc?? you are trying to create the account?

I have an account on Amazon.com that was suspended because I was using prepaid debit cards for verification.

Would like to get it back but need to know the work around.

Ok prepaid cards are not working anymore. Maybe a couple of onces but I don't know which one.

If you could screenshot your suspended notification, it will help us to know how to reply to it.

Please check that your credit card is not expired, has adequate credit available, and is chargeable in the currency (USD) of Amazon.com. Pre-paid cards are not acceptable.

You should have no issue adding your debit card to your amazon account.

Most will work with mismatching billing information

My amazon account is in my Business name, llc

My business name address is different than my personal address. Do I need to merge these addresses together and use my business name with my personal debit card (not prepaid)

Or should l just add my personal information as the debit card holder direct in the add card area for verification?

I changed the name on my bank account debit card to my business name and registered the card to Amazon in the address of my personal information and Amazon accepted it.

Hopefully it will stick. Time will tell, but for now the mismatch info seems to have worked.

When it comes to adding a charge card on Amazon's seller section, in most cases they don't check if your Amazon details match the card. So entering 16 digit card number and expiration code will suffice. Then for name and address just fill in the Amazon stealth details. Just ensure theres atleast around $10 USD balance on the card.

If it doesn't work for you, you'll need to purchase an Amazon VCC from one of us authorised sellers on the forum. But do try your own card first.
