Amazon Handmade: selling in multiple Amazon Marketplaces. Please help!
 

Hi there,

My amazon US account was suspended around a year ago. Around the same time I signed up for a UK account (with the same details I used for my suspended US account) and have been selling successfully on Amazon UK since then. I found it odd that I was not linked and suspended, but based on this experience I am guessing that Amazon UK and US are separate to a certain extent, and do not share sellers details?

I am in the proccess of opening a new stealth Amazon US account, however the issue is I will be selling the exact same products that I sell on my Amazon UK account. 95% of my listings on Amazon UK are in the handmade category which means they are one of a kind products, which I am guessing would undeniably link my new US stealth account to my current UK account.

I was wondering, if I were to sell the same handmade products on my new Amazon US stealth account, can Amazon US see that there is a seller on Amazon UK selling the exact same products? And can they get my details through Amazon UK and match these with my old suspended Amazon US account?

Yes they are separate platforms but at any point they could share information would cause linking. Best to avoid using the same information even across platforms, just in case.

It takes more than 1 red flag for them to link you. Same items and something else similar will do it. Name similarities, addresses, One log in with same IP, etc. Way too hard for them to link with just 1 thing. Just try to add in filler items in your inventory. Even if you have to list pencils or dollar items. Dont list EXACTLY the same items.
