Amazon UK: Docs for Lifting GBP15,000 Disbursement Limit
 

Just received a request from Amazon UK, I need to submit government ID, bank statement and proof of address. My questions are:

1. What triggered the request? I am still far from the GBP15,000 disbursement limit (The account was created in May 2016, and so far I received a total of GBP6,000 only. I have another UK account that has already received GBP9,000 but no such doc request.).

2. Will Amazon UK go out and verify my documents? For instance, will creatively generated docs get my account into trouble?

3. What happens if I keep ignoring the request? Which of the following will happen?
a) My account can keep selling and making deposit until I reach GBP15,000.
b) My account will be suspended if I ignore the request for X days (even if cumulative sales is still below GBP15,000).

1. They can request for documents at any point.

2. They cannot verify most documents

3. You will get suspended until you provide the documents requested
