Starting my own Amazon Account while working for a company who sells on Amazon alread
 

Any experience or idea whether I can make my own seller account without getting blocked from the same computer and internet from which I had been working for my employer who sells on Amazon as well. I believe it would get linked straight away and it would block both accounts?

You will need to treat each amazon account as if its unique and never share any information between accounts

For simplicity you will need a new laptop and new internet connection. Everything you register and add to your new amazon account must be new and never previously used or they will link your accounts together

You will lose your job at the same time that you lose the extra income from personal selling... Too much risk.

Stay in position for a few months, figure out where/how they important products and what are the best selling products. Then quit the job and start a new account on your own.
