Amazon UK using NON working cards

A bit of information for some of the UK users using Amazon UK / EU.

When you first signup for an Amazon UK / EU account you are required to add a WORKING VCC / CARD to the account.

Lots will NOT work as we have known for the past year, however.... lots of you do not know the following.

The cards that would get rejected upon initial signup to an Amazon EU account do actually work to add to an EU account that requires a new card to be added due to lack of funds on the VCC.

I.E - Signup to Amazon EU, select a working card usually costing you around £120 or thereabouts, when that card runs out of funds and you get the credit card invalid message, you can add ANY card to the Amazon EU account to get it back working (any of the type of cards that DO NOT work upon initial sign up)

Hopefully should save you all a fortune :) enjoy!

That is pretty cool to hear!

I always advise most people just use their own real debit or credit cards with Amazon UK sellers account. Its usually very easy to do and really prevents a lot of potential issues happening in the future

Yup this is true.

I have also found several cards that work that don't necessarily get the 1£ test charge. I've seen a 0£ test authorization charge go through, and comes up on the card statement as 0£.

I'm not bothered if it continues to work or not, I don't personally bother with this method it's just something I came across accidently :)
