Re: Vpn

Yes they are risky because they're cheap, which makes them potentially abused, I wouldn't waste time on it.

Re: Vpn

When you choose a VPN provider, you want a Fresh IP - which means an IP not used on Amazon / eBay / PayPal before.

If you have an appetite for risk, you can consider Dedicated IPs - these aren't necessarily fresh, so you could end up being suspended if that IP was involved with another suspended account.

The last thing you want is Shared IPs when it comes to VPNs. Essentially your testing your luck each time. Unfortunately some people think VPNs keep them anonymous, and so use them to abuse services like Amazon. If you happen to get assigned that IP, and you login to your Amazon - you can be sure it will be flagged and/or suspended.

Its just not worth the risk. However Dynamic IPs distributed by Home/Office (residential) connections work a treat, as they aren't as abused.

Also want to add, some VPNs that provide Shared IPs dont necessarily have the right exit nodes, which means when you login to Amazon etc., it will flag you up for trying to login from another country. i.e. the IP may be in the UK, with a US exit node.

Summary - stick to Fresh IPs.

If you can reset my Broadband Router and get a NEW IP i will pat you £100....here's another thing, I have a family, Computers, TV's and so on that are connected to the internet, I have no desire to be changing IP's while my family is using the Internet.

Convenience.

Imagine having a dozen accounts and you need access quickly without messing around with resetting IPs. Our VPNs are connected in seconds with a click of a button. You can cycle to your other accounts you have with us and connect to another VPN in just seconds. No waiting for a mobile device or resetting your local ISP. VPN beats other options no contest.

Not agree VPN never beats if you live in the country where you need IP since mobile dongle is best option and really cheap compare to VPN or any other method mobile dongle can't be beaten in anyway

Yes for those who are not based in county for them it's good option.

I think he was referring to convenience, in which case it is true, VPNs are without a doubt the most convenient way of operating multiple accounts simultaneously.

Am i right in saying that a VPN provides anonymity and hides your real location whilst online whereas reseting your router just gives you a fresh IP where your location can still be tracked.

For the purposes of an Amazon account - a VPN is used to mask your location and IP address, and replace it with one that is preferably fresh, never used on Amazon before and also dedicated to you.

Its not about anonymity.

Your route / home internet wont generate "fresh" IPs. But that should suffice, so long as you keep track of those IPs.
