I'm not on there but I'm interested now. I don't think our brand is well enough known for us to be able to sell marketing t-shirts. What kind of merchandising are you planning to do with them?

I have a few clients that have successfully created accounts, but it was not easy. Took them several weeks.

Out of curiosity, why not do it yourself, and sell the merch via ebay, your own website *and* Amazon, rather than just Amazon?

Of course it will take a little extra work. In addition to being able to sell on more marketplaces, being hands on with your own merch means you are in control of product quality, and customisations are limitless.

Because you can create the designs on post them on Amazon they show up as Prime Eligible and you get a royalty for each one sold. No real labor on your end.

I would suggest checking out a few YouTube videos on the subject. Lots of people create their own unique shirts to sell for royalties. Comedy, Political, etc.

If you really want to pursue this, you want to get hands on really. Pick the right material, quality. Get hands on with the design, or choose designers wisely etc.

Then you can still use FBA/Amazon to get Prime, also setup an eBay / Shopify store.

There's money to be made if your merch has any reputation to it.

I have a merch account. It took a couple of weeks. I was invited into it. The options are very limited but it works.

Are many of these designs from the Shirt Contest winners on Woot? Since Amazon own woot, artists got to submit shirts to win placement with very little winnings and they got to keep rights to all shirts submitted. What a racket!

I have been waiting for an invitation over a year to be on Merch.......Still waiting for Elmo to start selling merch accounts:)
