emailing manufacturer for approval?

One of my best and most profitable items I have been selling was gated.....

I've never had a problem and the manufacture has done many test buys over the past couple years...

I was thinking of just emailing them within Amazon and asking for a letter of approval? I dont know if this was Amazon's or the manufactures doing but I figured its worth a shot.

Does it really matter how it is wrote? im not good at these things.

Are they requesting a letter of authorization?

No, Amazon gated the brand. So I need invoices or a letter. Its nothing bad on my side, its just Amazon gated the brand.

I would bet this is Amazon's doing....the manufacturer purchased from me many times and if they did not want 3rd parties selling they dont even need to do test buys....we all know this.

"Dear seller,

Please read this email carefully. The listing information described below may affect your ability to sell certain products on Amazon.com.

As part of our ongoing efforts to provide the best possible customer experience, we are implementing approval requirements for XXX products in the xxx category.

What does this mean for me?

Effective immediately, you need approval to list the affected products on Amazon.com, and your listings for these products have been removed."

I was thinking if the email fails having a female friend try calling and seeing if she could get someone on the phone.....

If you don't get permission in writing, it's like it never happened. Your going to have a female friend try calling? not sure what that will accomplish, is she going to put on a sexy voice or something?

Happened to me recently. I submitted invoices from the manufacturer and had the brand un-gated.
