Amazon Account Verification 2017?
 

Hi,

I tried making a new amazon account yesterday. After creating the account, I received immediate suspension. The strange thing was under performance notifications, there is absolutely no notification regarding why I was suspended nor did I receive an email from amazon.

I tried opening a case through the help option, no response from seller support regarding the suspension.

Does anyone know what is going on? Does Amazon now require tracfone for account verification, like ebay? I did not use tracfone for verfication. I used a smartphone app called burner phone. Normally using an app like that has always worked for verification. The only thing I can think of is that its the phone number. The strange thing is no performance notification or email asking for id/documents. So I doubt the reason for suspension is it being linked.

Any suggestions please advise. Thank you!

They are getting harder and harder to make. Both USA and UK are going through security system updates at the moment. Which is why you are experiencing these issues.

But yes you should not use burner app for phone numbers.
