You have to go through the application process and they will list exactly what you need to provide them with. Most brands are generally the same

Usually 3 invoices and a letter from the manufacturer. Many brands simply won't allow for third party sellers online anymore. If you know of something that hasn't been Gated off then I suggest listing one immediately in case it does in the future and you may get grandfathered in.

That is correct!

A lot of brands also require EITHER 3 invoices or a letter from the manufacturer. Some definitely require both.

Hi,

I was previously listed and selling several microsoft products.

3 months later i had an angry and aggressive customer who reported me as inauthentic. i believe he was a rival seller

i sent in invoices but they keep getting rejected.

does anyone know what i could possibly do?

my invoices are legit and verifiable. might not be a top distributor but they are valiud nonetheless.

i have been removed from my fastest selling ASIN.

i appealed twice but the general answer was my invoices were inadequate.

I recommend trying to get other invoices from a different distributor

Anyone had any luck submitting made up letter of authorization? I'm playing around with the idea, just wasn't sure if Amazon would verify it somehow or not. I see A LOT of brand new sellers on Amazon at the moment who somehow got un gated to sell some of the major HUGE brands that I know for a fact would never give authorization to resell to anyone out there. I assume they used a made up authorization. There are many floating around, however, most of them are simple 1 page letters. Seems to me that it would look very suspicious that Nike, or someone as big, would give a 3rd party Re Seller rights in a simply 4 sentence letter of authorization. Then again, who is reviewing these at Amazon? If it is an Indian kid across the globe, maybe it would fly?

It all depends on the Brand. I am Ungated in Nike because out of dumb luck I sold a few Nike NFL jerseys that I bought from Ross like 3 years ago and am "Grandfathered in" at-least for the time being. But I have the same issue with another brand which was the bulk of my Amazon sales that I am now gated in even though I was selling $15-20k a year in until last Nov-Dec when the restrictions came down. I have sent invoice after invoice and even a letter from the President of the company and keep getting rejected. Its crazy how Amazon is running things right now.
