Quick question reg 'more information needed'
 

Hi. I have had the 'more information required to open up your sellers account' message at the top of the screen, I was originally told that I could possibly sell up to £15,000 before having to send this info but they have removed listings and it needs to be submitted before I can sell again. I have one question, is a screenshot of a bank statement ok to send as long as it clearly shows the account info and possibly an Amazon transfer as well? Or do I have to go to the bank to get copies and then scan them to Amazon? I have read there are delays with Amazon so I just wanted to make sure I send the right file as Amazon hasnt responded yet to this question.

You can give it a try and if they don't accept it they will request you to upload another bank statement. I recommend getting the best possible version initially submitted by reaching out to your bank

So a statement with an Amazon transfer visible along with the bank details matching what is on Amazon maybe alright? Only because it's hard for me to get out at the moment being disabled so I screenshot would be easier for me that's all, this is a legit account so I just want the fastest way to sort this out, I have been using this account for a year now with no problems so i'm hoping they will be ok with this

Bank statement is the easy part. I am pretty sure that Amazon will follow up with more doc requirement (such as tax ID).

Is it very likely they will ask for the tax details straight away or leave it a while? I have emailed them saying I have applied for a UTR number and they have replied stating just bank ownership is needed at the moment and they understand it takes a while for HMRC to send out letters. I would like to be able to sell for another month or 2 without another review or hold on any funds but I know what Amazon can be like with things like this.

It varies a lot. I have my accounts hit with tax doc requirement at GBP5000 and GBP8000 respectively. How fast you ramp up your sales is also a factor, I think.

I've only sold around 60 items at about £2000 in the 8 months iv'e had the account open! A bit strange Amazon would want all that information so early, thanks for the advice though i'll see if the bank statement works!
