| moe324 | 04-07-2017 11:24 PM | Getting back on amazon. So I am ready to be back on amazon, I plan to use my S corp and mothers name if required for the business. my two main concerns are the following
1--IP: I have static IP at home which I am attempting to change with my provider
if that failed should I use VPN if so I hear VPN carries the risk of being detected using it is that a problem ? second worry is jumping from one IP to another wouldn't it be better if I used one fresh and dedicated IP ?
2--Address : I intended to use my current home address which was never used for my seller's account, I did however use it for my buyer's account to ship an order back in 2014, would this link ? otherwise what is an address alternative I heard amazon does not take PO boxes as addresses.
thank you for reading, I am currently waiting for activation code for pdf viewer as for some reason mine does not work, I figured I would hear from some of you.
thanks |
Re: Getting back on amazon. 1. That sounds good. Make sure to have a new IP. If you cannot get a new IP you can always get a fresh IP VPN which will suite you fine for Amazon as long as you set it up correctly.
2. As long as the address is not associated with any other account, you can use it. If its associated to another account then you run the risk of getting the accounts linked / suspended.
Good work! :yar: |

Re: Getting back on amazon. Read the Amazon ghost guide to get a feel for what your up against.
The section pertaining to changing mac address - ignore that, irrelevant.
1 - Get a VPN with Fresh IP and take things slow.
2 - As e2free said, it will link. Use a fresh new address.
3 - Get a new laptop too, just so your on a fresh start. |

as for my address what do you guys recommend, virtual address set up or just a regular USPS address? how do you usually handle your shipments from different addresses ?
as for the IP the use of VPN is allowed with amazon ? |
Re: Getting back on amazon. UPS store mailbox, mail forwarding address all work well.
Yes I personally use 24vc on all my Amazon accounts. |
| moe324 | 04-08-2017 04:38 PM | Re: Getting back on amazon. Great, im going to ask HideMyAss for a refund haha. with 24vc you maintain that same IP everytime you log in right ?
as for the UPS store mailbox someone told me you need to make sure to add suite or something to the address to make it legit, does something like this ring a bell ? |
Re: Getting back on amazon. That is correct, same IP every time.
You can add the address such as 123 Fox St #581 (for box #)
Confirm this with UPS but most will allow this format |

I was going for the IPburger or 24vc.com route as everybody recommended a fresh and static IP
thanks |

whats your say on dongle vs 24vc or Ip burger ? |
Re: Getting back on amazon. That looks good! I would get a dongle for any provider att/tmobile/verizon/sprint, they all work well. Look at prices and find one that suits your needs. |

USPS regulations are that mail/packages using other forms like "Suite 123" are supposed to be refused to sender by the carrier. That being said...
Some mailbox rental places will let you get away with using "Suite". Some are really anal about it.
Some USPS carriers don't care. The one time I really wanted to use "Suite" rather than "#123", the mail carrier always delivered, and the store yelled at me every time but never sent anything back.
UPS and FedEx don't care what USPS regulations are, so if it's through them, you're fine unless the store just decides to be anal about it.
Just know there's some risk. No idea how big or small it is. |
