AVS problem

Hi there,

I have a buyer account with a real address. An address scouted via google map - ****, SAN JOSE, CA 95111-****.

I made a successful 3 orders and all are delivered. But on my 4th order, I got an email from Amazon telling me to verify my address. Please see picture below.

Now, I have two questions for you guys.
  1. Do I need to create those documents and later Amazon will reinstate my account?
  2. What trigger the AVS? I am using a real US address and a clean IP via RDP.

Thank you and have a great day everyone!

I wouldn't put your information online, I recommend editing that out

Which address were you having the items delivered to? To the one you got via google maps or to one of "your" addresses?

I am having problem with my account address. I have a valid address and a clean IP. It seems the address I choose has been flagged, maybe due to an older account has the same address like mine. But if that is the case then, I will argue like there could be multiple users on the same address right?

I am thinking if submitting an edited utility bill and ID will be worth it. Because it will cost me somehow.

So that is why I am asking if *just in case* I submit those documents that Amazon is asking, will they consider it or just throw those things and let my account on-hold forever.

I previous experience will help me alot. Thanks guys!

If you have a ghost account and immediately try to place orders that ship to a different address (which is what I assume you did), Amazon is very likely to suspend the account.

Is this just a buyer account or a seller account?

If you submit the documents be prepared to wait up to 30 days as they have been lagging behind for some time now

So, is this a buyer account or seller account?

This is a buyer account I believe. Any way to avoid Amazon asking for docs?

There is no solution to avoid having them request documents

Is there something they look at while processing orders? because some people get hit with these requests and others don't. I'm assuming that both of these people are creating unique accounts.

They will eventually be asked for them. Some at the start, some later on.
