Use same EIN for multiple Amazon accounts
 

My friends and I registered a company, we want to open Amazon seller's accounts for each of us.
Can we open business bank account and cards under the same company, and use them to apply Amazon accounts for each of us.

And when Amazon requests EIN number, can we all provide the same EIN number? Alought our addresses and personal information are totally different.

But i have to use my SSN to obtain an EIN

I've already used my SSN to obtain an EIN which i used in my banned account

Reusing an EIN might get me tracked

Get a LLC, then go back to IRS and apply for a new EIN :thumb:

Yes, you can. Same process, you need to open a LLC and then have an "authorized rep" get an EIN for it (I am assuming you dont have SSN). The only issue you will face is to open a Bank Account if you're NOT present in the states.

Online. It takes less than 5 min. You can apply for as many you need. Limit is 1 EIN per day (same SSN).

Umm, one EIN per company. You'd have to register another company. YOu make it sound like he can just go online, pay $5 and get an EIN, pay $5 get another, and another. I wish.

I have a similar question. I'm currently have 1 amazon account and want to create another just in case. The Amazon account has already been associate with my SSN, and my EIN (I put SSN first, then later on EIN).
Can I get another EIN from IRS using my SSN again? Or do I have to register another company like jame said?
Also, would another EIN make it complicated when I do tax? Do I have to file 2 schedule C at that time?

Get yourself an LLC, then you can have as many as you need.

People that know about how EIN's work, know this. But a lot of people don't. And the way you're post and others come off, people think they can get multiple EIN's for one LLC. When I was first starting out, I definitely didn't know this, and if I read someone say " get an LLC, and you can get as many EIN's as you need", I'd assume you meant exactly what you said.

1 EIN = 1 DBA / SSN / 1 LLC etc.

In all honesty, I have used the same EIN and Socials before on Amazon. It has worked and I have had no problems. Everyone is different but it has worked for me. I don't have time to continue changing EIN's.

Well that's definitely a concrete way to get potentially linked to multiple accounts. Not recommended...

If you want to link accounts, risk having funds held forever if one account gets problems then you take that risk.

We however advise strongly against the concept of creating links between stealth accounts.

Majority would have time to practise better stealth methods than you.

I don't think there is a $5 charge for EINs, they are free usually.

You can have 1 EIN per LLC and 1 EIN as Sole Proprietor. If you burned your Sole Proprietor on banned account then you will be required to create a new corporation and then you can get another EIN per Corporation.

The days of getting multiple EIN's online are over several years ago.

Sure you can lie to IRS and say you own many Corps, but that will eventually lead to big trouble.

I'm in the US. No idea why mine is a Vatican flag.
I have a SSN, which was initial used on my Amazon seller account. Later on, when I register a business as Sole-Proprietorship, I used the EIN to replace my SSN.
Now I want other Amazon account, just because.
I know almost all the steps, except for EIN part. For a second I thought I can just get another EIN with my SSN again. But reading posts above, it seems not the case.
If I have to open an LLC to get an EIN, seem like I will have to file 2 schedule C at the end of the year? 1 for the sole proprietorship, and 1 for the LLC.

You don't mess around with using different names on the IRS websites for getting an EIN - that's illegal.
