The greater ratio the better. Personally I don't resell old items, but if I do, its around 20:1
I struggle with not selling old items because after all, most sellers had some number of good selling items prior to suspension, that they'd like to continue to sell. To expand though, does it matter if the items are spread between FBM and FBA? I had some really good selling items I was selling FBA, and was thinking create a bunch of new FBM listings and continue to sell the same FBA items.

Also curious on this. Im in the same situation.
My apartment is going to be piled to the ceiling with thousands of textbooks I need to slowly funnel into my new stealth account using FBA with a ratio of 5:1 dummy asins to dilute the "tainted" asin's.
